   Yes, that is the reason why.

   Your iPod can only be tailored to one iTunes at a time, so whenever you connect your iPod to iTunes, it will perform the ‘Erase and Sync’ because the rest of your family are contnually using and editing their iTunes.

   are u syncing music from diff computers. if u do it will delete anything from the old comp
